WHERE THE HELL IS DONEIL HENRY?

His photo is nowhere to be seen on the official site(Teams). He returned to the club in January 17 with an injury, but his name does not appear on Physioroom injured players list.
He has yet to play for the first team.

Has he joined the Canadian Mounties without telling Sullivan and Gold?
Perhaps he lives in Knightsbridge with a well known Baroness who likes cock.

No wonder the fans are not happy.

What on earth do the owners and manager expect.

As many say, they never specified if the "next level" was up or down ! We now know :-(

He's under 21, so doesn't have to be registered.

That will be the list, harold. It's unlikely the Premier League have got it wrong.

Adrian not on list.

And for two of the 22 we do have to be Henry and Makasi, players who will not go near the pitch unless we have a total emergency makes it even more worrying.

To not have 25 seniors on the books is criminal.

Re: Squad Sizes - do we have smallest in PL?
Here's a thought for you - squad now versus the final season at the Boleyn

GKs
Darren Randolph (gone – now Hart)
Adrián
Raphael Spiegel (gone – now that African chap)

Defenders
Winston Reid
Aaron Cresswell
James Tomkins (gone – now Fonte)
Joey O'Brien (gone – now Zabaleta)
James Collins
Angelo Ogbonna
Sam Byram
Doneil Henry (is he still here?)
Reece Burke (loaned)
Stephen Hendrie (gone – now Musuaku)

Midfielders
Alex Song (gone – now Fernandes)
Cheikhou Kouyaté
Pedro Obiang
Mark Noble
Victor Moses (gone – now Arnautovic)
Dimitri Payet (gone – now Ayew)
Manuel Lanzini
Michail Antonio
Reece Oxford (loaned – now Rice)

Forwards
Andy Carroll
Enner Valencia (gone – now Hernandez)
Diafra Sakho (wants to go)
Emmanuel Emenike (gone – now Martinez)

Plus this year we also have Quina and Haksabanovic or however you spell it.

So have we actually improved in 2 seasons? Well, Hart is better than Randolph (regardless of whether the deal to sign him is worth the money or whether he’s significantly better than Adrian). Zabaleta is probably better than O’Brien, Musuaku is better than Hendrie. Tomkins/Fonte I can’t really decide. Fernandes is perhaps better than Song, purely based on the fact he’ll try as despite Song’s talents, he put zero effort in during that second season. Rice/Oxford are on a par – both young and unproven, though with undoubted talent. Hernandez is a huge step up on Valencia, but Ayew is a waste of space compared to anyone, let alone Payet. Martinez being in there is just token gesture really as I doubt he will play, likewise Quina and Haksabanovic. The improvements we have made are really what you would expect a team to make – you HAVE to keep getting better or you get left behind and will get relegated.

So basically, we moved to a new stadium to make a big bold step forward, go to the next level and compete with big boys and two seasons later the squad is perhaps marginally better but with the best player we had then now gone, with players like Collins being 2 years further towards retiring, and with two more seasons of Sakho and Carroll festering in the physio room and not improving at all (both of them are now at an age where they should be at the peak of their careers!!).

I can’t even be bothered to list the players we signed and sold in between (at a profit!) but in terms of squad size, we are tiny. I have no idea why we cashed in on decent squad players like Feghouli other than to save money for the chairmen. We are basically still 3 injuries from being utterly shocking, especially up front, and haven’t really made significant improvements anywhere other than bringing in Hernandez, but that’s really because we spent god knows how many years without anyone decent up front so it wasn’t hard to improve at all.

Yes. And the smallest Chairman.

Re: Squad Sizes - do we have smallest in PL?
Yep, squad of 22 players, including Doneil Henry, Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho. So to all intents and purposes that's a squad of 19.

Considering you need 18 players for a matchday squad, and at any one time we generally have about 5 injuries, we'll be relying heavily on youth.

Pathetic to find ourselves in this position to be quite frank.

I reckon we've got one of the smallest in the world!!!

Re: Squad Sizes - do we have smallest in PL?
I think it's concerning. We're at least a couple of players short, IMO. We need another winger, and also someone to give competition to Lanzini.

There's been a couple of suggestions from the likes of Alex V who'd have the squad even smaller as he reckons we should be the only team in the league with 2 strikers in the squad. "Thankfully" we've kept hold Sakho, but he's likely to be as useful as a chocolate teapot.
